MONTHLY PROGRAMS

Solanco Historical Society offers free programs on the third Saturday of each month, except in May and December, at its meeting room at 1932 Robert Fulton Highway, Fulton Township, 6 miles south of Quarryville, PA 17566.  The educational and informative presentations are provided by historians, collectors, teachers, authors and researchers. Programs begin shortly after 1:30 p.m.  You’re welcome to join us!

November 15th - Suzanne Lamborn will present a program on “The Founding of Pennsylvania with the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).”

A Society business meeting will follow and there will be an election of officers and directors. The terms are for two years.

December 20th - No program, instead there will be a Christmas luncheon for members and friends; details to be announced.

SPECIAL EVENT - 35TH ANNUAL GREENS SALE

December 6th and 7th --

9 am to 3 pm on Saturday; 12 noon to 3 pm on Sunday

1932 Robert Fulton Highway (Route 222), 6 miles south of Quarryville, Pa. 17566 in the red brick archive building across from the Robert Fulton Birthplace.

Selling wreaths, swags, boxwood trees, table arrangements and grave blankets. Come early for the best selections or pre-order by November 26th to Peg Wurst by phone at 717-392-5023 or email at mwurst@comcast.net. Proceeds benefit the Solanco Historical Society and the Robert Fulton Birthplace.
