MONTHLY PROGRAMS

Solanco Historical Society offers free programs on the third Saturday of each month, except in May and December, at its meeting room at 1932 Robert Fulton Highway, Fulton Township, 6 miles south of Quarryville, PA 17566.  The educational and informative presentations are provided by historians, collectors, teachers, authors and researchers. Programs begin shortly after 1:30 p.m.  You’re welcome to join us!

August 16th - “From Albany to Appomattox” presented by Ronald Zanoni, who reenacts Civil War General Philip Sheridan. Business meeting to follow.

September 20th - “Good Roads in the Southern End During the 1910s and 1920s” presented by Stanley T. White, a Director of the Solanco Historical Society.

October 18th - Program to be determined (TBD). Nominations due for officers and directors.

November 15th - Program TBD. Business meeting to follow, including election of officers and directors.

December 20th - No program. Christmas luncheon for members and friends.
