MONTHLY PROGRAMS
Solanco Historical Society offers free programs on the third Saturday of each month, except May and December, at its meeting room at 1932 Robert Fulton Highway, Fulton Township, 6 miles south of Quarryville, PA 17566 (across from the Robert Fulton Birthplace in the red brick building). The educational and informative presentations are provided by historians, collectors, teachers, authors and researchers. Programs begin shortly after 1:30 p.m. You’re welcome to join us!
March 21, 2026 at 1:30 PM - “The Underground Railroad in Lancaster and Beyond” by Randy Harris
May 15, 16 & 17 - A Civil War Living History Encampment is in the planning stage. Details will be provided shortly.
May 25 (Memorial Day) through September 7 (Labor Day) - The Robert Fulton Birthplace will be open Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 5:00 pm for tours of the Birthplace and a historical video.
A program on the Civil War’s General Sherman was presented at Solanco Historical Society’s meeting room in 2025.
